MPLAB PICkit 5 Debugger/Programmer — Microchip PIC

The MPLAB PICkit 5 is a tool that helps you quickly create and program electronic devices. It works with various types of Microchip devices like PIC microcontrollers, dsPIC Digital Signal Controllers, AVR and SAM devices, and Arm Cortex-based microprocessors. You can use the MPLAB X Integrated Development Environment to control the PICkit 5 and easily see what's happening with your device through a Graphical User Interface. If you prefer, you can also use the MPLAB Programmer-to-Go mobile app on your smartphone to connect to the PICkit 5 via Bluetooth and program your device on the go.

The PICkit 5 has different ways to connect to your device, like JTAG or Serial Wire Debug. You can use standard connectors for these interfaces with the Debugger Adapter Board. It also has a cool feature where you can power it from the device you're programming and program it just by pressing a hidden button under the logo. You can use the mobile app to browse the content on the PICkit 5's micro SD card and program different images onto your device directly from your smartphone. This way, you can prototype and test your device, then take it with you and deploy it wherever you need it.
