20A Range Current Sensor Module ACS712

The 20A Range Current Sensor Module based on the ACS712 is a reliable Hall-effect current sensing solution designed for both AC and DC current measurement. It uses a precise, low-offset linear Hall circuit integrated with a copper conduction path positioned close to the sensor die. When current flows through this copper path, it generates a magnetic field which is detected by the Hall IC and converted into a proportional analog voltage output.

This non-invasive sensing method provides electrical isolation between the measured load and the control circuitry, improving safety and reducing noise interference. The module is capable of measuring currents up to ±20A, making it suitable for medium to high-power applications. The output is an analog voltage that can be easily read through the analog input pin of microcontrollers such as Arduino, AVR, PIC, ARM, and other development platforms.
